I had to sell two atv's to get mine and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm very happy with mine and have had no problems to date. I would highly recommend one. They are expensive but they are worth every penny.

Can you buy one in the states to save a few dollars? It might be worth the trip.

Hiofcer, thanks for the ideal but with the canadian dollar being so weak and the tax savings I get on the 6100$for my rancher it would make it more expensive yet!if it was not for that it would have been worth while and I would have it a long time ago.

I had a Rancher and we went to go buy a quad for the wife. We ended up getting a Rubicon. What a power difference. The Rubicon has a ton more power than the Rancher. I love it!

I hope you ended up with the Ruby, and she got the Rancher, right?

Definitely worth every penny in my book. Ride one, if you can, and you will probably wind up taking one home.

She rides the Ruby due to it being automatic. When there is mud to play in we switch. This is going to force me to get another auto sometime soon...

The Rubicon in just becomming available in Canada so they are trying to get top buck from die hard Honda fans. The SP 500 H.O just beat the bike in a shootout and cost $8500 and $8000 for a 2000 up here.Infact any other 500 or 600 utility cost much less I would wait awhile for the Honda to fall in place with the rest of the 500s price which it will when it's commonly available. You would not want to buy the first 2000 Rubicons to come along at $9700 and see a new improved 2001 model come out that sell for the same price as the rest of the worlds large utilities. The Bombardier dealer here used to try and sell their 500 Traxters for $9000 and now I see they lower the price to $8500.At $9700 you will have the most exspensive quade I heard of I think a DS 650 and 660 Raptor sell for about that much.

I bought a Rubicon about 2 weeks ago and it is perfect as far as I can tell. It has always seemed to me that the Honda motorcycles I have owned were well thought out to about 95% and then the last 5% of the bike was just make do with whatever was available, but the Rubicon appears to have been thought out 100%. I don't mind paying a little extra when the result has this kind of quality.

Have you Actually seen a Rubicon in a Canadian show room yet? My dealer is still saying Mid December. I hope he's wrong...
