do any of you guys know if when you install the mechanism that allows you to take it out of 4x4, can you still switch between 2x4 and 4x4

 

Are you talking about Warn 424????? If thats what you're talking about then Yes. You can do it on the fly too ONLY when all 4 tires are moving. If you get stuck then you must stop the tires from spinning and then switch to 4 wheel drive.

 

Like the warn 424? Yep, thats why its popular, it allows either 2x4 or 4x4.
