Will Honda Rancher fit inside a Toyota Tundra?
#1
I'm picking up a new Honda Rancher on monday, does anyone knowif it will it fit inside my 2000 Toyota Tundra Access Cab with the tail gate up? My pickup bed measure's 74" , the spec's on the bike say 78" length, I'm wondering if I need to get a bed extender or not?

Mine fits in a toyota standard cab with the tailgate up. It fitsin my s-10 but i havde to raise the front wheels to keep it from hitting the front.
Thats one big reason I didn't buy those huge trucks/atv's out there. What good is it if you can't hall it easy?

Don't worry if the tail gate won't shut. Just put a tie-down from the rear rack to the front of the bed and the quad will not move. I have hauled an atv with the tailgate down hundreds of times and never had a problem. As long as it is tied down, it won't fall out.

fits perfect in my 94 z71 shortbox, the length includes the nose of the machine that sticks out a little, but if your box is low enough that part will sit right above the edge of your box and you'll mainly have to worry about wheelbase.

If it don't fit with the tail gate up then just run the front wheels on to some blocks and it might just give enough room to close the tail gate. If you can't close your tail gate then just make sure you strap it down, put in reverse gear and engage park brake and you should be fine.

I just bought a Rubicon and I haul it in the back of my Tacoma 4X4 with tailgate down and double straped front and rear...Tight squeeze between wheel wells with front tires...

My new Rancher fits in my 97 F-150 short bed with the gate up. The nose has to touch the front of the bed though. Right now we are using my future mother-in-laws 16 foot trailer to haul both atvs on.
