if this helps i get my buddies 97 foreman 400 (bigger then rancher) in the back of my 97 toyota t100 (slightly smaller the tundra) with the tail gate up. it clears by like 2 inches in the front and back.

 

I have a 04 Tundra and a 03 Rancher --- I have no problem fitting it into my truck and able to close the tailgate with room to spare !!!!

well if it has no trouble fitting in a tacoma with the gate up, then the tundra wonmt either cause its bigger.... and to the other guy a foreman 400 is physically SMALLER then a rancher

 

I planned on posting pic's of my new Rancher in the back of my Tundra but unfortunately after driving for close to 10 hours to Chattanooga, TN from my location in North Carolina not only did the salesman I had spoken to 3 times before beginning my trip, Not have my ATV ready the guy was a total Jerk. I can't remember ever being treated so Rudely by any salesperson ever, the guy didn't remember speaking with me or even know what I was there to pick up. Needless to say I told him to "Shove It" and left. This has taught me a real lesson to say the least, as they say, "If it sounds too good too be true".

Whatever you do don't put it in gear because if something does go wrong and it falls off you could damage your tranny very badly so only pull the parking break and it will be fine.

 

I have both a Toyota Tundra and a Honda Rancher AT. The Rancher fits fine inside the Tundra but you need to leave the tailgate down. Other than that there is no problem with it.
