Default Top Speed Rubicon

Nadine,

I didn't say anything about drag racing but if you want to drag race bring your little cannible and I will drag you on my GSXR 1000 and still take your $100.00.

I was just stating that if you don't believe that my Rubicon will run 60 mph, then come down and see for your self.

Just ignore Nadine...The 05's may be faster than the 04 and older since Honda did Remap the computer in the tranny for 05. I've had mine up to 98 kph which equals to 60.76 mph's (on pavement). My buddy says his 04 Grizzly will only do 100 kph's but does get there a bit quicker. None the less, the 05 Rube CTE is one awsome all around performer.

Yes they did remap the computer for improved responce. Although Honda says the new Rubicon does not have any more horsepower, you would swear it does judging by the seat of the pants feel. They also did add a throttle postion sensor. The bike does feel extremely responsive and accelerates quite briskly. A lad I know has an 04 Rubicon, which I have driven and to be honest it feels like a bit of a dog compared to mine.

No problem, but if you still want to bring the cannible down and put it up against my GSXR, I will still be glad to take your $100.00.(jk)

Of course! But that will cost you another $100.00. (jk)

You really should bring the R6 down and go hit the mountains with us.
