I heard that honda is making a 650 sports quad, does anyone know anything about this?
Also does anyone know what updates the 450R is getting for 06, or even a guess?

 

i heard there was going to be a 700 rincon to replace the 650 rincon.heard that the 450r is getting e- start for sure .and new spring rates , engine lower and tilted more forward.also heard it will come with the hrc cam form the factory.and new gear ratios .also heard that their coming out with side by side like the rhino.

4 or 5 issues ago in dirt wheels, they hinted honda was working on a 650ex. They said the motor was based on the xr650 motor, and would feature reverse. My guess is that since the raptor 700r has efi, the honda will as well. I have no idea when {or if}we will see this machine, but I think its just a mater of time. Why let yamaha rake in all the big bore sales.

 

They were saying the same thing last year. Look, all the speculation is part of the fun of new models, but nobody is going to REALLY know anything until the dealer show in September.

 

Red Goblin, for a vet around here...how come you don't have any pictures posted of your KQ? You helped me out with one of my ?'s a while back and I would like to see the KQ.....I am still waiting myself for what the dealer show brings and if it is a disappointment on the Honda side then a KQ will be in my garage.

 

Well then let me say that honestly, if you are hoping whatever Honda comes out with will top the KingQuad, Brute Force or Outlander, I think you're wasting your time. Recent history has shown Big Red to come up short in the ATV department as far as performance and features with the exception of the 450R. That's not to say this won't be the year they break the cycle and release an awesome sport-utility, but the odds are stacked against it. I've been too lazy to actually take some pics with the digital camera and then figure out how to put them on here. I suppose I'll do it eventually someday, but that day isn't today[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]The King really isn't much to look at right now anyway, only has a winch. Maybe once I get the wheel and tire package I want put on it, which I expect to be coming shortly as I'm close to getting my CR125 sold, I'll have enough inspiration to post some pics.

 

dirtwheels suck.they are just trying to sell mags, plus they have been saying that for years since the raptor 2001 came out.i don't think honda will ever make a 650ex that we will see

 

Oh, eventually I guarantee they will. Just don't know if it's this year.

 

i would like to see them make one too but they have had years to bring one out to compete with the raptor and have not done it .think if they were going to do it they would have by now.
