My son's is basically stock, just a pipe, filter and White Bros rev box for a little more top end. Without the rev box, my Wolverine left him in the dust, now he can keep up unless we are on a long straight away at top speed, and I've used my GPS on my Wolverine, and gotten about 58 mph, so 55 - 57 seems about right for top end. I've seen quads that are doing 70 mph, and there is no way a near stock 300ex will even come close to that.

bump up the front sprocket and lower the back a few teeth... this is if u only want top end speed u will loose alot of bottom end. rev box, exhaust like curtis sparks, jet it corectly, a high perfomance cam, and mabye a piston and u should be gettin close to mid 60's
