oil change

Default oil change

How often do you guys change you oil in your rancher,rubicon,rincon etc in a year?

in about 75 more miles I'll be changing mine for the second time since I've had the machine which has been since may 31first

i change my oil when the oil change light comes on.
thats my rubicon ( i think its every 1000kilometers)
on my kawi it every 100 hrs or 1000 kilometers. witch ever comes first.
i ride lots and since i got my kawi last jan 05 i have changed it 2 times and im almost ready for the 3rd.

I change mine every 500 to 600 miles or at least 2 times a year.

Default oil change

I rode my Rincon for about 28 miles on its first ride and changed the oil after that. I didn't notice any metal shavings in the filter like I did in other quads after I did the first oil change. May be a bit extreme but I don't believe in soft engine break in periods, I took it out and opened it up for a good 90 minutes then changed the oil the next day. BTW, you can get K&N oil filters for about half the price of the OEM filters.

Usually every 100 hrs or 1000kms, but a minimum of once a year.
