I replaced the water pump on my R about a year ago and it just failed again. I just installed a PWR aluminum radiator with all new hoses and I was wondering what could have made it fail so soon. I noticed a small black residue on the inside of the hoses when I installed them. I tried to clear it out as best I could. Is it likely that that stuff could have accumulated on the impellor and the other moving parts?
