Does anyone have the duncan double barrel exhaust for the 400ex and how do you like it?How much power gain?How does it perform?How light is it?How much is it?Which would be the better choice slip on or full system?etc,etc.Thanks

I think it is the same as the DMC pipe, but the DMC is a little cheaper. On a racing engine, the DMC flows the best out of almost every pipe on the market. If you plan on building your engine, get the full system, if not get the slip on. If I were you I would get the DMC over the Duncan because they jack up the price more for the same pipe. Yes it is lighter, 8 pounds lighter, and yes there will be a big difference in power on either pipe you choose.

 

OK so the DMC will work good on a stock engine right?Also does anyone know how loud the DMC is?

Yeah, the DMC will work great on a stock bike, the article in dirtwheels said, with the DMC they could pull 5mph on the top end. They do a review of it in the feb 2000 issue of dirtwheels. But, they said that the soud was on the high side, but people in the forum who have them say that they put out a unique sound.

I have the DMC, it is loud, kinda sounds like a Harley. Nice power gains.
