The H-Ds are heavy. I noticed a tiny bit of power loss at the exepence of practically flat proof, I think they were designed for 450's and up.

I didn't like the H-D's for desert, and you are right, they are heavy. But, in any kind of wet conditions, I think the H-D's would be great. I run XC's and sometimes XCT's around here.
