the biggest performance gain i noticed on my 04 was when i bumped the compresion up to a 13:1 that 12:1 piston is going to be a huge performance jump over the 10.5:1! I'm liking the new headlight too!

 

if honda thought you could get more flow they would have. two cams mean more working parts ie. more internal drag,more stuff to replace, and just more complications. i would bet that even though the yfz has more valves and cams, that the honda head would flow just as well if not better due to its tried and true design. the honda head also uses a roller rocker for exhaust,talk about low friction.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

i ordered my 06 450r yesterday and cant waight until it comes in. this thing should rip. i want to see how it compares to my yamaha 450. i had quite a bit done to my yamaha and the 05 hondas could touch it even with the same mods. but i can say one thing for sure about the 05 450r is that it was a lot smoother on the track with stock suspention than the yamaha.
