Hello,

My quad has some kind of power outlet on the right side of the handlebars, not a cigarette lighter type. What is it for?

Also, where can I get a speedo cable for it?

if i am correct it is an outlit to plug in a spot light..... and i am looking for some help on taking the head off my 300 honda fourtrex i cant seam to get it off... and i think i got an valve stuck open.... dose a 1992 honda fourtrex 300 have an over head cam?

 

It is an accessory outlet. I took the cover off and wired an GPS through it
so that when the atv was running I had a GPS that wasn't using the small
throwaway batteries but the atv's battery. I do believe it is used mostly

You don't say but when new it came with the female part that can be plugged into the power outlet on the right side.

I purchased at walmart a marine type cigarette lighter outlet similar to what is in cars and wired that to the female end supplied from Honda.

I have installed a cooling fan on my Honda TRX 300 4x4 and when going slow pull out of the rear storage area the female end and then plug the fan into that part for power to the 12v fan. Honda might still sell them you don't have the female end and they used to sell a speedo kit for the trx300fw but I have no clue if they still offer one or the cost.
