300ex IS NOT STAYING ON

Default 300ex IS NOT STAYING ON

Ok on my 04 300 i put on what i have listed below the jets the pipe all that stuff three weeks ago, so two weeks ago we went riding it ran fine but today we went and it only runs in full choke , so i let it warm up put it half way and it dies and about to go riding i turned it off it dies im like what so i put it back in full choke and see if it would ride rides fine so now it only starts, runs, and stays runing in full choke and half choke it still dies so if any one can help it would be greatly apperciated...

Do you know what jet sizes you are running? Have you opened teh carb to see if a jet came loose and fell out. Is your air filter still in place?

im not an expert on hondas but by the sounds of it the carb isnt leting enpough gas thro it im not sure what to do i hope this helps
just my 2 cents

yeah i dont know what size the jets are but i know they are the right ones and i havent looked at the the carb too see if they came loose but i was thinking the same thing im not geting and gas so my broth-in-laws dad coming over to look at it cuz he help me put in the jets so thanks for repleys...

It sounds like everything is not running correctly together. Maybe try some different size jets in there or something.

it sounds like you have a clogged jet, meaning no gas goes in without the choke on, turning the choke on provides some fuel so it runs. Either way, you should take the carb back apart and double check everything.
