My 2001 Honda rancher has no power to the rear wheels,the front one spin on a hill but the back don't.
I'm hereing a clicking sound when the front wheels spin. Where would i start to look for the problem. A visual inspection gives no clues.
My daughter was driving it when problem started I have no information on how it happened.

 

hmm, it sounds like the shaft is broken or come apart going from the engine to the rear wheels. You'll have to take some things apart to find out what it is, but that's where to start.

 

if i were you i would not take anything apart and try to fix it yourself, youll pronly just cause more problems. take it to the dealer and have them check it out.
