the keyswitch? my friend has pro taper bars and the key switch fits on them. if the switch doesnt, you can rewire it so it doesnt need a key, or cut a hole in your plastics and put it there.

TAG METALS T2 KIT! You can get them in a 450R bend (same as CR-HI I think???), with a slick little mount. The mount comes with a plate that holds the key, little light, and the tank vent tube.
The bars are a little lower than stock, for a much improved riding position. Very pleased with mine!

On a kickstart bike, the key grounds the spark when you turn the key off. So I think you just seperate the wires, and interupt the ground???? Then you can just kill it with the kill switch, when you need to turn the motor off.
But, with these bars you can keep the key, so your little brother (or your kids) won't be joyriding on your machine.
