Can't recommend you a dealer in that area, but most dealers in the south got their 2006 450 ER models early this past week.

Not sure about the kick start models because I don't know of a single dealer who ordered one.

November!?!?!? Wow........ that is a vry big delay between the US and Canada. We have ours already. I would check with that dealer again to be sure he had the dates correct.

I will say that the time I spent on the new ER the other day was well worth it. There have been folks on here saying not to expect much of a difference between the 2005 and 2006 models.
I completely disagree. I have ridden both. The power and suspension differences ARE noticable bigtime.

Gear ratios are also different from 2005. I haven't had it stretched out in top gear yet, but where you could stretch out a 2005 in 5th.........you have just shifted into 5th gear with the 2006.
Unless it can't pull the gearing (which I highly doubt) the 2006 model should have a higher top speed as well over the 2005.

I haven't decided yet because I have been wanting to test ride the LTR450 first...... but there is a very good chance that I have found my quad for the next race season.

 

well my dealer orderd one of the kick start models last week because i didnt want the estart for mx use. they start prety easy any ways.
