The 2001-2004 models cannot fishtale except in gravel, ice, etc. because they are full-time 4x4. You can, however, buy a Warn 424 and install that on them which I did and that allows it to be much more sporty. The 2005+ models are equipped from the factory with Traxlok (ability to switch in and out of 4x4). They are all equipped with the best transmission in the business, the Hondamatic which allows you to either select between 2 modes of high range automatic, or ESP which allows you to shift via thumb button on the left handlebar, as well as low, neutral and reverse. Top-end is at or around 55mph. Built like a sherman tank and will probably be much more reliable than your 600 was in all honesty.

That's the beauty of the Hondamatic: no belts. Every ATV manufacturer should start working on something like this system. Big kudos to Honda for the Hondamatic. Yes, all RUBICON models have low and are automatic. I personally would not buy a used machine that I intended to keep for awhile with more than say.......1500 miles unless it was in really good shape. I couldn't give you a price estimation, but I sold my 2001 with over 5800 miles for $3500. Hondas hold resale value.

in low you can use auto or manual shift.
its your choice.
same as in high.
and if your agressive you can power slide them but its alot harder then the 2 wheel drive ones.
