I think that there is worthwhile gain in low and midrange power. Top speed is NOT increased. The only Caveat is that considerable tinkering with jetting was needed to get optimum power. It is not a case of simply bolting on the exhaust and sticking in new jets. There are a lot of variables. If you go this route, someone with some carb tuning knowledge could really help.

Nat,
it helped, but it did not completely correct the problem. It seems about 50% better than before though.

I took the Recon mudding today to see if its drum brake seals would hold up.Yes and No.The rears seemed fine.

The fronts, when I removed the drums did have water in them, but hardly no dirt/mud in it.I cleaned/dryed/adjusted everything out and greased up the drum seals with waterproff grease.I'll see what happens this wk end,
Bill

Bill-

FYI: I received these suggestions a while back from some hard-core mudders regarding sealing brakes on Hondas. (1) Seal around the pins that hold the brake pads to the backing plate with silicon. (2) Grease the drum seals with Mobil 1 synthetic grease - it seems to be more effective and holds up better than most "waterproof" greases.
