Default New 04, 400ex....$4499. Good price?


I posted this over in the "Buying an atv" section but things seem kinda slow over there.



Dealer near me is advertizing 78 (!) 04 400ex's for $4499 each OTD. I know the 04's don't have reverse but this sounds like a decient deal?

And this is the total price including tax, registration etc. I really need to upgrade from my wore out Mojave and am considering buying a 400ex since my Kawi has always been a maintenance nightmare. Although I did learn alot about ATV engines with it

Whaddaya'll think? $4499 out the door and into my pickup.

Only if new. Here in MI that is a pretty close to the price for an '05. Aren't '06's already out?

That doesn't sound bad at all if that is out the door. And you won't have to worry about reliability with the ex's. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]


Does he really have 78 or is that a typo for 7 or 8?

i picked one up a few months ago left over and it was like 4200 i think OTD

It's a large dealer in Inglewood, Ca and they did have 78 as of Wednesday.

well my frend is picking 1 up tomrrow an 04 400ex with full skids bumpers tires bars for noly 3500 so i dunno.

but your friend is buying used right? Also, prices vary quite a bit depending on where you are. In So Cal prices are always high
