What does everyone think is the best pipe for the 400ex??

the absolut best pipe on a 400 ever is curtis sparks x6 ( full sys.) =- at least it is on a BUILT 440

 

Im gonna say a Hetricks Pipe, back before all these other pipes cameout, Hetricks was right up there with sparks and LRD pipe. Im partial to my Yoshi and with mods I feel the Fullsystem does its job nicely [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I guess it all depends on if you want more top or mid range, quiet core or performance.. ect....

 

I hear the HMF full system provides big gains across the RPM range and is not too expensive

the type of pipe must also be factored into the type of riding you plan on doing and what engine work you plan on doing or have done..

Big name exhausts don't mean gains where you want them....Your whole system has to match.....Too much exhaust and not enough cam or compression and you lose bottom end

Too many people over exhaust their bikes and lose power where they want it....I am not an expert, but just sharing the info that I have found
