I contemplating trading my 2001 4x4 Rancher es for the 400EX in Yellow that my dealer got in today. Hes giving me a pretty good deal in the difference. Havent made up my mind anyone else got any suggestions please dont suggest buying both as I cannot afford that option. I Shouldnt have gone to the dealer today as I then wouldnt have this problem<lol> but the yellow EX does look sharp.

The question you gotta ask is do you want a sport/hi-preformance quad, or a 4X4 work quad? If you want the sport, buy the EX, if you need a utility quad like the rancher, that EX isnt gonna fit the bill. You cant haul hay or deer with a 400ex, but then you cant jump a triple on a rancher.
So its all up to what you want a quad for.

 

yeah like rhino99 said if its gonna be used for work, stay with your current quad, if you do stuff like trails and just recreation, get the 400ex.
