Trike 250r engine quad frame??

I can get a good used trike 250r engine with complete rebulid for cheap and i can get rolling chassis from another place. Will it work with out any major rigging? Thanks

The motors are exactly the same as far as mounting and most other internal components go. I have done this same thing and it works fine. You will have absolutely no trouble because it is a direct bolt up.

yeah there are very little changes in the motor. the trx250r motor is the same one in the atc250r. diffenetly get it

Someone told me that only a 85 and 85 atc engine will fit in a 86 and a 87 quad frame. Ray what year is your motor and your frame? Thanks

The only thing different from trike engine then the quad engine is that my engine builder told me the ATC's put out slightly more power because they have a different head gasket the the 250R's. Other then that it's a straight forward bolt on.
Post some pic's and let us know how she turns out.
