In the Oct/Nov 2005 Red Rider Magazine, on page 13 where it is describing the awesome new Rincon, it makes this statement: "These 180mm disc brakes feature Honda's self-centering, collet-style brake calipers that were introduced in the 2005 Rancher, which also feature patented integrated scrapers to eliminate buildup of debris such as mud or ice."

My 2005 Rancher AT has drum brakes all around, and checking the honda web site, the specs for all the Rancher models cite drum brakes. Is this a mistake or did some Ranchers come with discs?

 

They probably meant Foreman. Ranchers still have drums...
