honda 250 question
Hi
for sale around me there is a 1986 250 quad for sale (would that be a 250R?) it is $500 it runs and all that but has faulty tranny how expensive to fix would that be?
BTW i am on a extremely limited budget.
and also a friends family has a 250R ATC sitting around with a seized engine how hard would that be to fix? I think its a watercooled one. i think it seized because it was being driven and the driver accidentally put the parking brake without pulling the clutch. That is what i have been told any way. would that really have seized it? would it have damaged the engine or just seized it?
also would the tranny onn the ATC go on the ATV?
Thankyou

honda 250 question
well the parts out of a 250r tranmission would be problly be very different as one is a 2 stroke the other a 4 stroke. but what the problem with the transmission? if you had to split the cases to fix the transmission that would be a hard job unless you hav ea service manual for it.
