He doesn't have an HRC kit for the '06. Once he tries that out, let us know how it works out then
Im beating plenty of 450r's with the HRC kit piped jetted regeard preformance CDI im sure atkrider has beat them to no matter were we go sand or dirt im still beating them

What pipe and filter did the 450r have??

I personally like smooth hitting power, I don't tire as quickly when racing. Everyone has their tastes though.

As far as I can determine the 06 450r only has about a horse more in peak power. The motor is claimed to have alot more potential with some simple mods. Everyone knows that the OEM"s can't make a quad that has alot more power than other similar quads. (LAWSUIT). But what a person can do with it after the sale it what's most important. Powerwise, if you put $300 in the 06 yfz and 450r, I think the R will be very competitive. Honda is claiming 50 horse with their HRC kit. If they only get 45 horse out of it that would be pretty impressive. Thank god for competition, it just raises the bar for everyone.

If, in fact you do have the mods listed in your sig, (cams, port & polish, bore/stroked, extended swingarm....) arguing that you can beat a Honda 450R with the HRC kit and some lower gears makes you look like a fool.

I would hope that the "all mighty" YFZ with mods like that would SMOKE, absolutely FLY past other 450s with the HRC kit... but it doesnt really sound like its all that fast.

Going back to the huge "YFZ vs Banshee" thread, a BANSHEE that is ported and polished, bored and stroked will be making far more than twice the stock HP, will be insanely fast up the hill and would REQUIRE an extended swingarm...

Ill stick with my banshee.

The '06 Honda is a totally different animal, suzukiZforme. In fact, with the way the reports are coming in about the HRC-equipped race model, I honestly wouldn't be suprised to see it give the new LTR450 a run for it's money. I truly believe Yamaha will be at the bottom of the performance stack this year.

You didn't have an '06 trx450.

It sounds like you need some riding lessons though, I'm available next weekend.

First of all, due to grammar and general literacy errors I have no idea what you mean. Why is "banshee" in quotes in your sentence? Re-think that, and then get back to me.

Also, are you sure you have a YFZ with those mods? It seems to me that someone with the financial backing and knowledge to mod a machine in such a way would at least have the ability to reply with a somewhat intelligent post.
Please post some pics of your bike.
