Just got a new Fourtrax 350 4x4!
#1
Hello, I'm new to this forum, and I just got a new Fourtrax 350 4x4, in yellow (electric shift). I have taken it out twice now, and I love it! I haven't had a quad in the last 12 years, and the last one I had was a Honda 300 4x4. I had to sell it when I moved into the city. It's been long enough now, so I decided to get another fun toy! It came with a Warn 2500lb winch, and I got a Moose County snow plow with it. I'm going to try and make a bit of extra money this winter with it, since nobody likes shoveling their driveways or sidewalks here!
I was also wondering about bigger tires, could I put 25" or even 26" on this ATV? I guess I might loose a bit of power.
Does anyone know what the top speed is on this quad?
I've only had it up to 50km/per hour.
Thanks for your help!

top speed is somewhere between 48 and 52 MPH, depending on what kind of surface you're on.
25's and you wont notice too much, but 26's will make you notice a little power drop.
mine is a 2005, i have the yellow too
have fun with you new toy!

You might want to call it the Rancher 4X4 ES, to avoid confusion. I think there was a 350 4X4 back in the day, and it took me a second to figure out that you meant the Rancher (the electric shift was the giveaway).
I run 25" Holeshot ATR's (excellent snow tires) on some very light ITP rims, and any difference in diameter is made up for by the fact that everything is so much lighter.
