I have a 250x and i'm trying to make it look and run better if you have any tips for me then i would really like to know

What do you mean by run better and to make it look better buy new plastics.

 

Post a pic of it for us to help you with the looks. As for running better, don't worry about doing any mods until you have replaced all loose bearings and seals, make sure your chain and sprockets are in good shape, and make sure the motor is running good and holding good compression. I don't knowanything about your particular quad, But I rebuilt my 1987 250x from the ground up about 7 years ago, and it was very good to me. I raced a full season of Arenacross on it as well, finishing 16th in my district that year which was my first year of racing. They are very well built as all Hondas are.
