ok say i was to get a regular cam, pref. one that doesnt have to get my rockers treated...
ok, how many "bikes" would you say that would give me in racing?
ok two, say i was to get a piston like the 416 or 86 or 87(not sure) piston...how many bikes would that push me ahead in racing.....
last question would be the combination of the two with maybe a lil head work....how many bikes>?
---->im deff installing a rev kit too so think of that with these mods, thanks....just wondering on how to pep my quad up cheaply and make it faaaaast!

If you get a xr400 cam you wouldn't need your rockers welded, but with my web cam I haven't had the need either. Now if you went with a 10:5:1 JE piston, and got a cam, which is simular to my mods, you could beat stock Banshees,250R'S, and even some piped ones. Now when I talk about beating them I am talking about drags in the dunes up hills, I can easily beat those bikes and more. But if you are talking about MX I think it might be the same results.

What type of racing? I went 440, no hardening of anything. I mostly ride Trail, I think the hardening is for the MXers who are basicallly sprinting aroud the track, with less cooling. I ride long and at steady RPMs, havent had any problems yet, I guess duning would be somewhere in between, what type of racing? Thats your first question, second is how much you wanna spend?
