question on HINSON clutch for 400ex
#1
ok ive heard they are great for the ex....but i see a kit for like 210 then the basket for like 250....or vise versa....what should i get....would i need both ...i heard to get the 8 plate thingy, would that be just the clutch it self....im trying to stay on a budget...i seen the hinson side cases on the engines that say hinson racing, is that the basket...just give me the 411 and let me know what i should do....
ps. i heard of some racers getting the basket and keeping the stock clutch or something, is there anything to that? THANKS

The basket and pressure plate are what you need, they go inside the case. The thing you see on the outside of the case is a machined case that allows you to access your clutch without removing the whole side case. The basket is around 200- 240 bucks. The pressure plate is around 60-75 bucks. The case machining is around 400-450 bucks.
