Rancher AT dies on hills -anyone else?
#1
Any other Rancher AT 400 owners have a problem with their bike quiting after climbing up a hill when you release the throttle?
Honda claims that they have not heard this complaint before but I think they are hiding information.
This quiting thing has happened in the past but this past weekend it quit while climbing, slipped back over a ledge and caused the atv to flip over backwards. Lucky I was able to jump off far enough so it didn't land on me but I have had enough of this bike.
There is some thoughts that the transmission on the AT builds up pressure while climbing and when you let off the throttle that tranny pressure is too much for the engine and kills it.
please respond if this has happened to you with the AT!!
