someone told me that next summer honda is releasin the 650r quad. he siad thats why they made the 250ex. he siad that there gonna get rid of the 300ex, have the 400ex as the middle quad and the 650r as the big bike. he said too that the dealer told him when it comes out thta hell have the first one from them. which makes it more believable

 

650ex four stroke or 650r two stroke? Big differance!!

If it is a four stroke I assume it will come from the new dirt bike with a few engine changes. How much does that engine weigh including the radiators and about how much horsepower are we talking about?

 

Radiator? It will probally be air cooled!!

 

650r ???........As much as I'd like to see that happen it probably wont happen soon. Honda just doesn't come up with new model like that. They usually take years to develop so that they dont mess up. That's why hondas are so reliable.

 

i checked honda's web site. the engine is liquid cooled with 2 radiators. the engine weighs 88 lbs compared to the 103 of the raptor. if, and thats a huge monster if, honda makes a 650 ex, ill be runing to my dealership! honda if you are reading this, what is wrong with you, if you make them you wont be able to keep up with the orders!!

I don't know about you people, but I know I wouldn't want a 650 2-stroke to ride around on. How quickly would someone get killed on that? Maybe Honda will revive the R&D department and come out with a new sport quad. But, until the day they do, I won't believe it. I just can't.

 

i have to clear y self up he said 650r but i think he met 650ex because he said they were gonna use the xr 650r engine which is liquid cooled. and as for development look at the Raptor we( i mean everyone) only knew about it threw spy photos from a few months before its release. if honda did this theyed be making a serious move which would probably put there sales on top
