My 200sx wont start. When you turn on the key the reverse light comes on and doesnt go off. The shifter will go up twice then down twice and thats it. Even though it only goes up and down twice, that should mean its not in reverse. The neutral light doesnt come on. Is there a censor or something that would keep the 4 wheeler in reverse when it shouldnt be? I also dont seem to be getting a spark. Thanks

 

well it doesent start because something with the reverse switch is broke. the transmission senser says the trans is in reverse therefore will not start, it has to be in neutral. i think that it might be stuck in reverse or your reverse sensor/trans is f'ed up.

prolly a reverse sensor broken and since it says your in reverse your ignition reads thta and wont let it start

 

Try rocking the wheeler forward and backward while shifting. Is it stuck in gear...or will it get to neutral? If it gets to neutral, but the light for reverse is still on, then the switch is bad, or the wire to it is shorted out.

 

theres 2 wires going to the bottom of engineby your right foot brake reverse netural chek them becaus if 1 is grounding bike will not start trace them back and look for a break its definitly a wire problem
