Hey all. I had a question on a nerf bar install for an 86 250r. I bought a set of used nerfs on eBay. After receiving them, I trial fitted them on the quad and I'm not sure exactly how they should fit in the front. Do they go thru the frame or under? They are made to fit together in the front but they didn't appear to fit thru the frame due to interference with the mounting tab on the left side and the right side appeared to be to thick to even fit thru the frame. I emailed the guy and he said he was sure they were mounted on an 86 previously. Could there be some mounting parts missing or am I doing something wrong? Thanks,
