should i get a uni or k&n, i dont ride dusty conditions that often (but sometimes it can get pretty dusty) , so would it be worth it to risk it and get a little more power from k&n, or should i play it safe and get a uni?

Stick with uni for dirt. A k&n is nothing more than an oily sock!

 

is twin air airfilters better or worse than uni?

 

Any two stage foam filter such as uni, twin air, etc. are the best for trapping dirt. You can't go wrong with either just make sure they are oiled properly.

I had uni....didnt fit worth crap on the ds but..... a foam filter will filter better than a k and n...the k and n i have now fits nice and snug even tho it doesnt filter as well.
