Hi, I searching for some information about a honda trx250x. I was wondering if you possibly know what kind of engine would fit in a trx250x 1987 frame?? Besides the original 1987 trx 250x engine, would any other engines fit in it such as a 300ex engine maybe without any major modifications?? Thankyou for your time, Cody.

The 300ex goes right in. The engine from a 350x goes in with just a little work.

So the 300ex and 350x will fit, but what year range of then engine??
