hey there, currently i have a rap 350, but i may be able to get a good deal on a trade in towards an 02 400ex. the 400 im looking at is totally stock. power is not really much of an issue, but i do love more power. the main reason that got me lookin to trade is my legs constantly bang into the fenders when ever i lean into the corner( im 6'4", i know im really tall) but when i sat on the 400 it feels more spread out than my raptor is. plus im realizing the jumping capabilities of the raptor and want to be able to jump alot of the jumps i can do on my bike. so my question is, do u think the 400 is better enough for me to go through the hassle of trading my raptor in? i know the quick answer would be to mod the hell out of it ,but i like to keep my quads simple and reliable. any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

 

just race cut the fenders and you wont have anything to bang your knees into

 

Do it! The Raptor is nothing but a warmed over Warrior......not the greatest machine ever built. I know, I rode one for years!

The EX is a great jumper, as long as you stay within the limits of the stock suspension. Great all-around machine.
