for people who have a 06 trx450r or who have ridden one how did you like it, is the 06 a twist throttle?
how would it compare to an 06 yfz? should i wait for the lt-r450? -thanks

 

I'll help you out here. You can do a search here and read some reviews around the web. I was impressed with the performance of my 450r. Previously riding a 440ex, I notice how much more racebred the 450r is. It's not a putter and that's why I still have my ex. It's entirely your decision on whether you want a suzuki, yamaha or honda. The choice was easy for me. I've been a fan of honda's performance and reliablity and I stay true. For others it may be the same for yamaha or suzuki. I think it's too close to disect the individual parts and which are better. Look at more of how it all works together. My advice is to go ride them. Then decide how much money you want to spend. Performance characteristics also depends on the rider and their experience and how they utilize them. Ride them and make your own decision. If it was as easy as telling you, I would.
