I actually got my stock Honda Rubicon up to 63mph on level road!!!

 

'96 TRX 90 with 65lb rider, all stock = 34 MPH
'94 Suzuki King Quad, all stock except tires, 190 lbs = 46 MPH (and it can go much, much faster ie: down a 60 degree slope while being pushed by a runaway transfer truck with a tailwind.

Didn't you post you hit the rev limiter at 61 mph?

 

Stock 400 ex 68mph on a paved road.

with a 14t sprocket 63 mph on the same road

Stock '01 Foreman 400 44MPG I'm 220 dry.

 

The fastest I have seen a recon go was 46mph. Measured by a 450ES. The recon took a good jump ahead at first then toped out and there came the foreman to top out at 50mph.

I agree with the top speed of the Recon is in the 44-46 range. They have good low & mid range power, then slow down on top.
