I weigh 150 lbs:
86' TRX 200SX 50MPH all stock screeming at limiter
84' ATC 200ES big red 60MPH in high range run out of power lugging-never have screemed it downhill
85' TRX125 40MPH or so, never clocked as it would make everyone laugh to death
91' XR250R 70MPH all stock(never toped out though)
94' XR600R 102MPH all stock (kinda nice to break 100 strait out of the box! just dont stand up!
96' XR400R 75MPH stock- not at limiter
88' CR125R around 60-never clocked with my GPS
96' CR500R around 85MPH, never clocked as I sold it before I bought my GPS.

In response to you going 63mph on a level road no way in he!!. I just got in the house at 9:45p.m. I attempted a very steep downhill speed run and was only able to hit 61mph. I know everyone says each atv is not created equal so its a good thing my fiance has an identical Rubicon. I still could not break 61mph in a full tuck position. I did not hit a rev limiter rather a drag limitation.

my 86 TRX 250r ported bored .020 with a wiseco piston, boyesen reeds,FMF gold series fatty pipe, power core 2 silencer with 14/38 gearing will do 75 mph. clocked by my freind in a fiero. IT has 18 inch rear tires.IT was hard for him to accelerate as fast as me though.

Hey lovinhonda...

What do you weigh, 100 pounds soaking wet? I have a really hard time believing you can get your Rubicon up to 63MPH on level ground. Do you have a lager diameter tire than stock on your machine? This will cause your Speedo to read too fast.

Mine on pavement, downhill, hit a max of 54MPH. I weigh 200 pounds. I'm not calling you a liar. It's just really hard for me to believe that 1 stock Rubicon can go a full 9 MPH faster than another.

Hey Hiofcer, I can't be more serios. I weigh 130lbs. 16years of age and I don't like to lie to people, im not a story teller. My stock Honda Rubicon went 63 on flat pavment. Just to tell you, I can't really beleave it eather. To tell you what, this isn't going to be any time soon but
i'll try to get on a straight pavment road with my atv again and let my dad follow behind me with the truck just to see if the speedo is working wright. Catch ya later

I tried it again… There is no way my Rubicon will even come close to 60 MPH let alone 63 MPH. I've tried using D1, D2 and ESP The results are the same. 53 -54 MPH. I'm going Downhill on blacktop, no wind, temp was 28 and my elevation is 910' ASL. My Rubicon is completely stock including the tires.

Therefore I must come to the conclusion that your speedometer must be wrong.
