What's up guys? I'm new to this BBS so bear with me....
I have "00" 300EX that I got about 2 months ago. I love the damn thing. Over the course of this long Minnesota winter, I plan on making the machine scream. What are the best aftermarket mods that I can do to increase performance. Here's what I am thinking about. K&N filter, modifited airbox lid, aftermarket pipe(either White Bros or FMF), WORKS suspension(triple rate), 13 tooth front spocket instead of stock 14, Holeshot XCT's. I do all trail riding and don't plan to race, at least on a track that is. I have plenty of experiance with riding(about 10 years). And I'm pretty good with motors. I just don't want to hurt any of my reliability. Let me know if you think that this will rock. Later, Chris

Awesome...another "rockin'" 300ex. All those mods will work great. Although I think the triple rate springs are a bit "overkill" since the stock shock mounts don't allow for a whole lot of travel (compared to a 400ex). Go for the dual rate Works Steelers w/ resevoirs. The stock front sprocket is a 13 tooth already and should be perfect with the XCT Holeshots since they are 22" ers like the stockers (with the 20" XC Holeshots my 300ex gets a little better low end for climbing, tight situations, etc.). Get a better skid plate too! The stock one works good, but requires alot of pounding out after a ride and looks just plain hideous. Have lotsa fun...that's what it's all about.
