Default Sprocket

Hey what would be the best sporocket set-up for a 2002 400ex. I only ride trails and wide open spaces.

Default Sprocket

Same riding I do also. I just posted a thread. I just ordered from Parker Yamaha (online orders are fine) in AZ from Lori the 36T rear sprocket which will give more top end. I also ordered the D.I.D x-ring chain. They seems to have GREAT prices.

Default Sprocket

I'd suggest buying a one tooth smaller countershaft sprocket (14). That way you can swap back and forth depending on where you ride.

i have a 14 tooth front and stock rear on mine and i ride the same tarane and it works great


p.s. i hit 70 mph with a pro circet slip on k&n air filter and jetted
