what is the big difference is one really that much better than the other... i heard liqiud helps in cold temps but thats about it... let me hear what you guys heard or know about this

great tha answered a lot thanks... does the air cooled make it hard for doing mods on a 400ex for example...

 

If you put a good heavy duty oil cooler on it, it should be fine.

 

and where would the oil cooler go??? my past quads were liquid cooled but budget wise and what i use my quad for 400ex seemed to be the one

 

Not familiar with Sport Quads but most Honda Utilities are air cooled but also have an oil cooler with electric fan. IMHO, I've never had a hitch with the oil cooled system on my Forman, never over heated either. I know of quite a few felleas that have to deal with coolant leaks and stuff, so although its supposed to make the engine more reliable, it is another system to have to deal with if it breaks.
