Are there any problems with the 05'/06' Foreman 500's that anyone is having? Considering one and was curious about them...Thanks![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

I read the forums here alot and there's nothing major or widespread been posted. Honda and some of the other manafacturers had a recall for bad tie rod ends that alot of machines fell into, but I think the 500 forman escaped evven that.

 

Mine has been great…

The tie rod recall did affect the 05 Foremans, but it was no big deal.

There was also a service campaign for a free upgrade of some clutch part for something that is supposed to be more durable, but I have never talked to anyone or heard of anyone who had a problem with the stock clutch.

Anyway, I’m sure pleased with mine.

 

My little brother has an 05 manual with over 800 trouble free miles on it. It is a great bike. the power and ride are awesome.

 

I have around 760 something miles on mine and haven't had any BIG trouble out of it. I did have to replace the front right/left ball bearings after my quad starting popping extrememly bad when I turned. The dealership said this was from mud and showed me the bad parts - they looked horrible - and I had been riding in some pretty nasty stuff (called "the swamps"). Recently I've started to hear a weird vibration that sounds like its coming from under the head gasket or somewhere around the front - and it only happened a few times one day when I was traveling at very slow speeds - haven't heard that since.

Overall I'm in love with this thing! It's perfect!

 

my neighbor has one and i rode it and its a pritty nice bike gets through almost everything if u know how to ride it
