Rancher brake questions
#1
Being it has drums all the way around, how maintenance intensive are they? Do they work when you need them? Do they make you second think going down steep hills because of their performance? How often do they need adjusted?
Sorry, just never had hydraulic drums, and last had drum brakes on my old ATC's. Thanks!

Have 2800 miles on my Rancher and just recently adjusted the front brakes.I do a lot of mud and water riding and have never had any problems with water getting in the drums. As for braking power there is lots, put it in first gear and you don't even need to use the brakes going down steep hills.
