Why wait for someone else to try to figure out everthing you yourself specifically want in an ATV.Build your own dream machine.I did.

88' 250R stock frame and transmission everthing else is aftermarket.

Fivel250Rman.. that thing should really roll.
Questions..have you had any other shocks on the R? Do you think the axis are best? What is travel of the axis? What shock would you recomend for a rider who wants to do alot of jumping &really aggressive rough trail riding? Iwant to buy good shocks for my R the first time ..need input Thanx.

I've rode a couple wheelers with Works shocks and they are much much better than 13 year old stock suspension, they're also the cheapest I've found.Axis retail for the most and in my experiences you get what you pay for.I chose them because they are a division of Penske Racing who,I remember, build super high tech, spare no expense Indy car shocks...quality stuff. If you never want anyone to have a better trio of shocks than you, buyum!however other brands that cost less may be as good as Axis,I haven't had the opportunity to try the other kinds.I'm almost positive the are stock travel. One more point the best shocks in the world can suck bad if they aren't dialed in right. It takes some trial and error but its well worth it.Hope I helped.

88' 250R lots of extras
