Default ok, heres the deal

i almost feel stupid for asking, but some guy my dad knows is buying a bombardier 800 h.o. and is talking all this trash on my trx 450r. in a drag race on the street, with equal riders, what would win? the bomb. is stock. i have the 480 kit, HRC kit, K&n intake and a 13t sprocket, which are listed below. and on the trail, which would win, as far as like no big obstacles and stuff. please let me know. thanks

He's getting a little big for his britches thinking an 800 Outlander is going to beat a 480R. Don't get me wrong, thing can scoot for a 4x4 (I know it'll spank my King), but he's being a little too optimistic. He might get you off the line, depending on your clutch skills, but I would like to think you can at least catch him almost immediately after the start. The trail run will be no contest at all, you'll take him in every corner and out-accelerate him.

If you had say.....a 400EX, possibly even a stock Z/KFX400, it would be very close and you might even end up losing. These new 450s though, especially if yours is bored-out, are a different story.

I had several 600' runs with my piped and jetted 450R against a piped and jetted Bomb 800 with 28 in tires on it. Out of five runs he beat me twice. He got a sweet holeshot both times, but he could stay even with me until 3rd gear on my wins. They are the most impressive Ute that I have seen!

The Big Bomb deserves a lot of respect, but you will take him as long as he is stock.
