Default Blasters Beat 400ex's

LoL. This kid claims his blaster can beat a stock 400 ex because he has his quad bored 10 over, and it's piped and jetted. He says he smokes his freinds ex. It also has a vitos intake. I know it's not possible but what do you think about that?

Heres the pic of his quad. You will have to copy and paste the link.

Does'nt take much for a blaster tuned well with a little work to take out a stock 400ex, nothing new

I have a '96 Blaster with nothing special, but Boyesen Power reeds and K&N filter. My bestest buddy has an '03 400ex with a K&N filter; all else stock.
Needless to say, we enjoy dragging each other and although I remain within 20 feet in a hundred yards, I'm still behind every time. Even when we switch quads, the results are the same.
So, I can believe that with a few mods to the Blaster, I don't think it would be hard to tie him or even beat him. Not top end though, the Blaster stops around mid-50s, the 400 gets up to around 70. On a side note though, I can take corners faster than him and easily make up for lost straight-away time

Yeah, I have no doubt a modified Blaster could be faster than a stock 400ex.

With some work, a blaster might beat a ex. But only bored 10 over I dont think thats going to do it. Thats just my opinion. Those blasters are quick but you have to compare 200 vs 400. I dont know though some of those blasters can fly.

Several of the Blasters I have built for myself would out run my 400EX and several Z400's too.
A good pipe, Wiseco piston and kick the timing up about 1/4 in. and it will. The Blaster's befor 2003 are alot faster than the 2003-2006. To make the new blaster's run you have to change out the CDI and wiring.
