hollywood does this b/c they are from tree hugger central. they want the public to be annoyed by atvs in every sense. and when they make them sound like a 2 stroke it adds to that b/c alot of people do not like the sound of 2 stroke engines - it annoys some people.

all these popular TV show have some hidden agendas. they all have political under and overtones in them.
from house to bostonlegal to even in some sport commentators...what do you think "Commander in Cheif" is really about? It's getting the public ready for a female...um...Hillary Clinton run for the whitehouse...just wait and see...

I think honda should sue them. but if, in the video, if they removed the stickers and such directly identifying it as a 400EX, honda cant do anything about it. why do you think on some shows- they will remove the front badge off of a mercedes, bmw, ford, chevy, turn coke cans around, etc?? b/c the manufacturers can bring a suit against them for filming their products without their written permission or consent, which usually costs $$ and is subject to the manufactuers' guidlines of HOW they can show and what they can and cannot do...

 

I think Renthal should sue them. When they first show them riding, when the son is driving, they show the handle bar pad and it clearly says Renthal!

 

Yeah, Renthal was clearly visible and the Honda Graphics were still on. It was either a 2000-2003 model. At least they got the exhaust tone correct. LMAO Motox is right, when you see a 2 smoke going brap brap...

I was telling my wife, the father could have kicked his foot out of the way and got to the brake or somthing...and what rental place would allow double riders.

Now I wouldn't have a problem if they were using a tandem seat ute like AC or BRP. Plus the whole blowing up thing bothered me as well.

That said, I have to say that HOUSE is one of the best shows on....I crack up at what an a$$hole the doctor can be all while saving someone's life.....I have to wake up your son despite his burns which will be torture for him so that I can save his life mentality kills me!!

The best screw up on it (other then a sudden explosion) was the kid is doing what 50mph, hits drainpipes head on while flying through the air and gets thrown behind the bike? Newton rolled over in his grave on that one [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I don't see this as a black eye, it's really not a big deal. When cars blow up and do all sorts of crazy stuff in movies the car manufacturers aren't out there saying that it's unfair to cars showing them crash and blow up and what not. It's just a stupid show...
