yea how much hp/torque gain would i get installing a 440 kit on my 400ex? and is a WB rev limiter a good idea.... cause it increases the RPMs by 1000 isn't that bad ??

I am interested in the 440 kit also, dont know much about it. I do however have a White Brothers rev limiter. The way it works is You 400ex (stock of course) can rev up to 9100 rpms. The rev limiter makes it be able to reach 11000. I havn't noticed that it does any huge change, makes it screem a little louder, and rev a little quicker.
I think it is about 120 bucks.

I have a buddy who told me that the CDI box for a Honda XR400 dirtbike is the same thing that White Bros. sells for the 400ex. And, it's only around $89 compared to WB's $130.00 Supposedly it's the same thing but WB puts their sticker on it and makes a few bucks. He did this to his quad and said it really helped.

 

I believe they sell a XR200 cdi and put their name on it. Does anyone have a WB rev limiter? If someone does they could maybe find a part # on it if it isn't scratched off. I use the XR200 cdi, go to www.servicehonda.com and order one from them they're cheap.
